What is ttl in DNS?

TTL stands for "Time to Live."

It's a value in a DNS record that specifies the amount of time for which a DNS resolver or caching server can cache the information before it expires and needs to be refreshed from the authoritative DNS server.

So every time you update a DNS, it would minimum take the amount of TTL to update.
